Based in Wellington, New Zealand, we provide hands-on support for bus operators, councils and regulators keen to seize the opportunities of electric transport and minimise the environmental, health and financial risks of fossil fuels.
Erich Livengood, Managing Director, Electric Autobus
Erich leads the Electric Autobus business. He re-engaged with electric vehicles in New Zealand in 2017 convinced that heavy electric vehicles could beat diesel vehicles on cost in many applications.
He set about applying his over 20 years’ of energy and automotive industry experience to demonstrate cost parity through doing. Erich combines deep supply chain and stakeholder knowledge with business pragmatism and engineering skills to deliver real (and economic) emissions reductions.
His previous positions have included Market Manager at Transpower, Head of Energy at NZX, public sector and governance roles.
Erich holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Asian Studies from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
